Wayuki means healing water in the local Maya tradition. Discover the plants, rituals, and intentions behind each treatment at our on-site spa.

What's in a Name?

Wayuki is drawn from the living vocabulary of Belize's indigenous healing traditions, meaning roughly healing water.

The Plants Behind the Treatments

Copal resin is burned at the start of each session as a cleanser, a practice used by Maya healers for thousands of years.

Cacao appears in our signature body wrap: raw cacao paste mixed with honey, coconut oil, and ground coffee. The result leaves skin unusually soft.

Lemongrass and ginger, both grown on the farm, form the base of our warm oil foot ritual.

Aloe vera, harvested fresh from the farm garden, is used in our after-sun treatments.

The Treatment Philosophy

Wayuki is not a high-tech spa. What we offer is attentiveness: skilled hands, genuine ingredients, and the sound of the jungle outside.
